Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh begins official visit to Japan

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh arrived in Tokyo yesterday, starting his official visit to Japan at the invitation of his Japanese counterpart Kishida Fumio.

During his Japan visit from November 22-25, PM Chinh will hold talks with his Japanese counterpart Kishida Fumio, witness the signing and handing-over of cooperative documents, meet with President of Japan’s House of Councilors Santo Akiko, and Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan Hosoda Hiroyki.

PM Chinh will deliver a remarks at an investment promotion conference in Japan and witness the signing of cooperation agreements between Vietnamese and Japanese businesses. He will have a dialogue with leaders of the Japan Business Federation and receive leaders of major Japanese firms.

The PM is set to visit Tochigi prefecture, where he will receive its Governor Fukuda Tomikazu and attend a Tochigi-Vietnam business forum. 

PM Chinh will also meet representatives of the Vietnamese community in Japan.
