Prime Minister receives founder of Thailand’s Gulf Energy Development
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said Vietnam welcomes foreign investors in the energy sector, especially renewable energy, while receiving Sarath Ratanavadi, founder and CEO of Thailand’s Gulf Energy Development in Hanoi on Tuesday.

Mr. Phuc said that with its current economic growth, Vietnam will soon need more energy. The Prime Minister praised Gulf Energy Development’s investment in renewable energy in Vietnam, particularly solar energy. He said Vietnam gives priority to renewable energy projects and hopes to attract more investment in this field.
