Prime Minister: Tax policies to lure investment

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked tax authorities to reduce unpaid tax to below 5% of the state budget in order to increase budget collection by 3% as required by the National Assembly.

Speaking in a meeting with the General Department of Taxation on Wednesday, the Prime Minister called for further modernization and administrative reform in tax management: “Our policy should center on tax payers to serve them well and protect their rights. Tax policies should expand a range of tax instead of raising rates. Regulations have to make clear how to protect tax payers’ rights in a government serving people and businesses in action.
