Prime Minister visits Japan to attend expanded G7 summit

(VOVworld) – On Thursday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc arrived in Ai Chi prefecture to begin a visit to Japan and attend the expanded G7 summit at the invitation of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

He will speak at a high-level Vietnam-Japan Economic Policy Dialogue and meet with leaders of a number of countries. During his visit, Prime Minister Phuc will hold talks with Prime Minister Abe and witness the signing of a number of cooperative agreements between the two countries. They will discuss major directions and specific measures to increase political trust and promote cooperation in economics, trade, investment, ODA, the support industry, agriculture, natural disaster mitigation, climate change response, healthcare, education, training, science, and technology.
