The Prime Minister welcomed the provincial economic growth of over 3.8% in the first half of this year despite Covid-19 impacts. He called for an all-out effort to mitigate the effects of drought and ensure sufficient water supply for daily use and production. Mr. Phuc said, “We need to prevent drought and ensure sufficient drinking water for people and good harvesting season. Binh Thuan should continue bettering its planning and planning management to avoid overlaps and contradictions between tourism and mining to successfully fulfill its social economic development targets.”

The Prime Minister urged relevant ministries to speed up the remaining bidding work of the North-South express way in the east of Binh Thuan province so that construction will begin by the end of August.
