A program was launched in Hanoi on Tuesday to promote online and offline sales of farm produce and train farmers on online sales.

First Secretary of the HCM Communist Youth Union Nguyen Anh Tuan said that the program will make full use of the strength of the socio-political system and digital technology.

“The program will help farmers overcome the challenges posed by COVID-19 and contribute to agricultural restructuring and development,” said Tuan.

The program is jointly held by the Youth Union, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Vietnam Women’s Union, and the Vietnam Farmers’ Association.

The organizers will promote agricultural products such as Bac Giang lychees, Bac Kan zucchini, and Lao Cai plums on various social platforms at 8 pm (Vietnam time) from Tuesday to Thursday.
