Over the past 10 years, the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights and its local chapters have worked closely to bring better life to Vietnamese children. Nearly 42,000 children and adults have been communicated about the rights and duties of children, and life skills. More than 100,000 disadvantaged children have received scholarships to continue their schooling.

Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Committee for Children Vu Duc Dam urged the Association to continue protecting disadvantaged and abused children and promoting communication to help children know more about their rights. Mr. Dam said: “I hope that all the children will be protected and provided with better care. This requires joint effort of Ministries, and sectors at all levels. It is essential to communicate about children’s rights to both parents and children”.
