(VOVworld) – An art exchange took place at the Dong Loc T-junction relic site in Ha Tinh province yesterday to show gratitude to those who gave their lives in the cause of national independence. The program also promoted patriotism and the national tradition of remembering the source of the water we drink. Earlier a requiem was held to pray for the martyrs’ soul.

On this occasion, the province of Ben Tre presented gifts worth 470,000 USD to policy beneficiaries. Enterprises in the provinces also visited and presented gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers and relatives of war invalids.

The province of Phu Tho distributed more than 28,000 USD in gifts to 850 social beneficiaries. Phu Tho also organized incense ceremonies at provincial memorials and paid tribute to fallen soldiers at the Truong Son martyrs’ cemetery, the Vi Xuyen martyrs’ cemetery, and the Quang Tri citadel.
