Quach Thi Lan wins gold medal in Asian athletics
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese athlete Quach Thi Lan won a gold medal Monday in the women's 400m hurdles event at the Asian Athletics Championship in Qatar.

Lan’s main competitors were Jamal Aminat Yusuf (Bahrain), Saritaben Gayakwad (India), and Erin (Japan). She started well and held on to win with a time of 56.10 seconds. Second was Jamal Aminat Yusuf at 56.39 seconds.
The Asian Athletics Championship is taking place in Doha, Qatar, from Sunday to Thursday. A 12-member Vietnamese team is competing this year.
