(VOV) – The Bach Dang victory in the 12^th and 13^th century has been celebrated and honored as a special national historical relic in Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province.

At the event on Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan said that the relic has great historical significance, especially during Vietnam’s struggles against foreign invaders. He urged Quang Ninh to work out plans to develop tourism at the Bach Dang relic site. The Bach Dang river witnessed victories over Northern invaders in 938, 981 and 1288.
