With advantages over natural landscapes and cultural and spiritual heritages, Quang Ninh welcomed nearly 500,000 visitors last month when Vietnam reopened its doors to international tourists. The revenue from both accommodation and travel services increased.

Recently 134 American tourists went on a package tour from Hanoi, then stayed in Quang Ninh for 2 days and 1 night and used the overnight cruise service on Ha Long Bay.

Pham Ngoc Thuy, Director of the provincial Tourism Department, said, “This month we’ll welcome a number of delegations from South Korea, mainly for playing golf. Quang Ninh has a system of international standard golf courses plus Ha Long Bay and Yen Tu. These are a distinct advantage for us to expand tourism services. We are working with major corporations to realize these programs and promote tourism.”
