“Red Journey” campaign collects 42,000 blood units
(VOVWORLD) -The volunteer blood donation program called “Red journey” has collected more than 42,000 blood units.

The one-month campaign which ended last Saturday, travelled through 26 provinces and cities nationwide to help ease blood shortages and raise awareness of Thalassemia disease.
The drive was first launched in 2013 by the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation and the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
