(VOVworld) – The 2nd volunteer blood drive called “Red journey” will begin early next month. The program hopes to get at least 10,000 people to donate blood and send 500,000 text messages soliciting donations for congenital hemolytic anemia patients, according to Dr. Nguyen Anh Tri, Director of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. The program involves 2 groups of people including celebrities and outstanding individuals from universities and colleges. Participants will travel across Vietnam, organizing exchanges with outstanding blood donors and sharing experiences in mobilizing and organizing volunteer blood drives.
