The party also nominated Indiana state governor Mike Pence as the candidate for the post of US Vice President in the election in November. In his 75-minute speech, Donald Trump said he accepted the nomination and pledged to make American great again. He promised to defeat Hillary Clinton to bring the Republican Party back to the White House.
