Taiwan (China) is considering creating "travel bubbles" with certain safe countries and Vietnam is on the list because of its effective response to COVID-19.  For other partners who want to resume commercial flights with Vietnam, aviation authorities are studying and discussing how and when air routes should be restored.

Ms. Hang said vaccine passports are being considered by some countries. According to her, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working with local authorities and Vietnamese agencies overseas to stay on top of the current situation. Resuming travel and tourism must be consistent with COVID-19 prevention and control, Ms. Hang emphasized.
