Results of research projects to be commercialized
(VOVworld) – Vietnam has been successful in a number of research projects including the production of vaccine Rotavin M1 to prevent diarrhea and space technologies. However, the number of research projects to serve everyday life has been modest.
Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan said that the ministry will provide more preferential credit to help scientists apply their research projects in everyday life. The ministry has launched the National Technology Innovation Fund worth approximately 50 million USD to this end, Minister Quan said: “We have many talented scientists. However, the academic environment in Vietnam is not good enough to develop their potential. Therefore, we are determined to build a Research Center similar to modern research centers in other countries to create a favorable environment for Vietnamese scientists. This will help to attract Vietnamese scientists from other countries to return and work in Vietnam.”
