Romania hopes to foster multi-faceted cooperation with Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Uong Chu Luu met with Romanian Deputy Prime Minister Ana Birchall on Friday to discuss bilateral cooperation in various fields during his visit to Romania.

Mr. Luu said the two countries have great potential to cooperate, especially in labor, mentioning Romania’s intention to recruit 2,000 Vietnamese labourers in 2018. He added Vietnam has a skilled and hardworking workforce who will meet the Romanian market’s requirements. Mr. Luu also requested Romania to help speed up the European Union’s signing of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).
Deputy Prime Minister Ana Birchall said Romania hopes to boost multi-faceted cooperation with Vietnam, especially in economic, trade, culture, and education.
