In a speech in front of the UN Security Council, which was posted on the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry website on Wednesday, Yermakov said no NATO states with military nuclear weapons capability, including the US, the UK, and France, has showed any intention of following the path of nuclear disarmament. He added that the US’s new nuclear doctrine dooms the prospects for the entry into force of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT).
