Russia, China to upgrade bilateral relations
(VOVWORLD) - Russia and China vowed to raise bilateral relations to a "higher level", Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping said at a meeting in Kremlin on Wednesday.

Mr. Putin called Mr. Xi’s visit a "key event" in relations between the two neighbors and said the Russia-China relationship is now at its peak. President Xi said he hopes the partnership will continue to improve.
President Xi is on a 3-day visit to Russia, his 8th visit since he took office in 2013. Both sides are expected to sign 30 agreements and issue a statement on strengthening their strategic stability.
