Putin said he hopes all parties will reach an understanding on this issue, and stressed that NATO needs to take into account Russia's concerns about its security relationship with Ukraine.

Russia’s navy has successfully test-fired a hypersonic missile, which will be developed next year, he said.

Last month, the Ukrainian Navy held an exercise in the Black Sea with naval forces belonging to three NATO members: the United States, Turkey, and Romania.

Putin said that NATO's military exercises in the Black Sea were a "serious threat" to Russia's military security.
