The diplomat said this had been confirmed by an inspection group comprising Danish, German, Polish, Austrian and Swedish representatives that had worked in Ukraine from March 20 to April 2 and visited the Kharkiv region, as well as the areas of Donetsk, Mariupol, Nikolayev and Odessa,”. He added that no matter how the “visit area” is expanded, it would be impossible to find any ‘signs’ of Russian military activity.
Lukasevic affirmed that Russian activities in Crimea were aimed at handing over warships and military technical equipment owned by Ukraine to Kiev. He said that Russia would not hinder international supervision activities in Crimea after this process was completed, noting that it’s Russia, not Ukraine that decides these issues.
