Russia, India strengthen partnership

(VOVworld) - Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is now in Moscow for his two-day official visit to Russia.

Prior to his departure, Singh expressed his hope that the visit would contribute to expanding the two countries’ bilateral cooperation in all fields. Meanwhile, according to a Kremlin source, the two sides will sign 6 documents on science and technology and energy cooperation and issue a joint-statement developing the strategic partnership between the two countries in economics, trade and international issues. On Tuesday, Prime Minister Singh will conclude his India visit and travel to Beijing for an official visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang.
