Russian scholars praise CPV’s role in the new period
(VOVWORLD) - To mark the 92nd founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Center for Vietnam and ASEAN Studies under the Russian Academy of Sciences issued a collection of research titled “Communist Party of Vietnam- a new era in history”.

The collection comprises 17 articles selected from reports at an international roundtable discussion on the Communist Party of Vietnam held last May.
The articles by prestigious Russian and international researchers clarified lessons of the CPV and its role in Vietnam’s modern history.
In his article, Professor of the St. Petersburg University and Director of the HCM Institute Vladimir Kolotov praised Vietnam’s political stability amid instability in the region and the world. The author said that Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong’s report at the 13th National Party Congress identified Vietnam’s strategic breakthroughs in major areas.
Director the ASEAN Center of the Moscow International Relations University (MGIMO) Ekaterina Koldunova praised Vietnam’s policies in the international practice system and the ways that Vietnam addressed new challenges.
Associate Professor Pyotr Tsvetov of the Academy of Diplomacy of the Russian Foreign Ministry highlighted Vietnam's growing international status and its foreign policy of diversification and multilateralization.
Articles by French and Japanese scholars praised Vietnam's foreign policy which they said has helped Vietnam overcome difficulties and raise its international prestige.
