(VOVworld) – The Sam Son culture and tourism week 2014 opened in Sam Son township in Thanh Hoa province on Thursday.

The opening ceremony included performances typical of Thanh Hoa’s cultural traditions, sports and traditional festivals. The event is part of activities in the lead up to the 2015 National Tourism Year in Thanh Hoa. This year, Sam Son expects to welcome nearly 2.8 million visitors to earn a revenue of 150 million USD.
