(VOVworld)- A ground operation in Yemen is an option if necessary.  Brigadier General Ahmed Asiri, spokesperson of the Arab coalition’s aerial campaign, led by Saudi Arabia, in Yemen said that the coalition would issue an announcement when there is a need to go ahead with a ground operation.

Meanwhile, the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to the US, Adel Al Jubeir, said the aerial campaign against the Houthis' advance in Yemen had been very successful. Ambassador Jubeir said that a number of Houthi military infrastructures in Yemen had been destroyed. He added that the Saudis were starting to see cracks in the Houthi leadership and that some of the rebels had defected back to the regular Yemeni army.
