The President made the remarks at a meeting in Hanoi on Friday with professors and scientists attending the international conference "Science, ethics and human development" in Binh Dinh as part of the 18th "Meet Vietnam" program. He said science and technology is considered the leading national policy and the key driving force for modern industrial development and high and sustainable growth.

President Phuc affirmed the importance of basic science and green economic growth education in the country's development for sustainable development and the quality of life for the people, saying Vietnam has all the necessary conditions to become a model of sustainable development.

He highlighted Vietnam's development policy, the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the 10-year socio-economic development strategy for 2021-2030, and a vision to 2045, which upholds Vietnam's strong aspirations and promotes the great national unity, cultural values and human strength.
