The Center is providing services for reporters, information technology system, means of transportation, arranging journalistic services, holding  press conferences to provide information and organizing interviews when required. It is producing the Games’ Newsletter (in Vietnamese and English), publishing press handbooks, operating the official website of the Games, and storing photos and data of the Games. The Center can serve 200 reporters at the same time.

The Main Press Center covers 600 square meters and is fully equipped to meet the needs of domestic and international reporters.

Some 3,000 domestic and international journalists are reporting the Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi and neighboring provinces.
