(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam earned 650 million USD from seafood exports in April, bringing the seafood export revenue in the first four months of 2021 to 2.39 billion USD, up 6.1 percent over the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The largest importers were the US, China, Japan, and South Korea, accounting for more than 57% of the total export value.
In the first quarter, Vietnam’s seafood export increased in most markets with the highest growth recorded in Russia, followed by the US, Japan, and the EU.
