Seminar on the 1968 general offensive and uprising held
(VOVWORLD) - The Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising in 1968 was of great importance, marking a decisive turning point in Vietnam’s resistance war against the US, heard a national seminar in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday.
Delegates agreed on many valuable historic lessons to be drawn from the event.
"The army’s strong determination to defeat the invaders reflected in the 1968 general offensive and uprising will forever be a great source of encouragement for us to fulfill any tasks assigned by the Party, State and people.”, said Minister of Defense, General Ngo Xuan Lich at the seminar.
