Seminar proposes strengthened Earth observation via small satellites
(VOVWORLD) -Potential plans and roadmaps to strengthen national Earth observation using small satellite systems were discussed during a seminar held by the Vietnam National Space Centre (VNSC) in Hanoi on Thursday.

Vietnamese and Japanese experts said that Vietnam is currently well positioned to expand applications from new satellite technologies to Southeast Asia and the Asia Pacific region.
Dr Le Xuan Huy, Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Space Center said that data from satellites makes an important contribution to the overall economic development such as monitoring fishery resources, forests, and the environment. Businesses can rely on data to develop applications in many different fields.
Vietnam's strategy for the development and application of space science and technology was signed by the Prime Minister in 2021.
