(VOVworld) – Locals in Soc Trang province have donated 4,500 USD to support a lawsuit seeking justice for AO/dioxin victims in France.

The fund was presented to the lawsuit’s plaintiff Tran To Nga on Wednesday by Lieutenant-General Hoang Chau Son, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin (VAVA). Earlier, the VAVA also mobilized a fund of 25,000 Euro (28,000 USD) to support Nga’s lawsuit against US chemical firms involved in the production of Agent Orange dioxin during the Vietnam War.
