Deputy Tran Thi Hoa Ry of Bac Lieu province suggested prioritizing investment in upgrading infrastructure to further improve livelihoods in ethnic minority-inhabited and mountainous areas.

"The National Assembly should devise a resolution on ethnic policies and a national target program in the long run for socio-economic development in ethnic minority-inhabited and mountainous areas. Simplified yet efficient management with specific people held responsible for the implementation of such policies must be ensured while priority should be given to human resources training," Ms. Ry noted.

Deputy Nguyen Ngoc Phuong of Quang Binh province said:

"I propose that the government further boost administrative reform, streamline business procedures in certain fields, especially in capital allocation, to support localities and businesses in implementing their projects."
