(VOVworld)- Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged Son La province to mobilize all resources to fuel local socio-economic development. At a meeting with Son La leaders on Tuesday, Phuc, who is Head of the Steering Committee for Northwestern region, asked the province to employ more effective measures to carry out Party and State policies for ethnic minority groups and eliminate poverty in remote and ethnic areas. He ordered the province to intensify its crackdown on crime, particularly cross-border drug trafficking.
