The event focused on COVID-19 vaccination, reduction of test costs for employees working under "3 on the spot" production model (working, eating, and staying at the company), encouraging people to return to work in industrial areas, and strengthening market connections to avoid further disruption in production chains.

Participants called on the Government to direct provinces and cities to restore agricultural production suitable to the COVID-19 situation in each locality. Nguyen Thanh Binh, President of Vietnam Vegetable and Fruit Association, said, “It’s necessary to outline policies to attract workers for material production zones, industrial parks, and processing zones to resume production and business in the new normal. This is the most important factor to ensure the supply chain is  not disrupted.”

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Tran Thanh Nam asked localities to coordinate plans to guide the post-pandemic production, harvesting and consumption of livestock and aquaculture products. He underscored the need to develop production plans during and after social distancing to ensure stable and long-term production and supply of farm produce.
