(VOVworld)- Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc held a working session of the Steering Committee of the Southwestern Region in Can Tho city on Sunday. The Deputy Prime Minister praised the region’s development, especially its efforts in eliminating temporary houses. He asked the region to further bring into play its potential to improve local infrastructure, boost economic development and reduce poverty. The same day, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the inauguration ceremony of a temple dedicated to Hai Thuong Lan Ong- Le Huu Trac, a great traditional physician of Vietnam.
