(VOVWORLD) - Spain will cooperate with France and Portugal to construct a new “green energy corridor” for transferring natural gas and hydrogen between Barcelona and Marseille, a major oil refinery hub, according to Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
The new underwater gas pipeline will replace the previously announced Midcat overland pipeline.
The three countries’ leaders will meet soon to discuss the construction schedule, the investment timeline, and each country’s contribution.
