Spain to block Puigdemont re-election
(VOVWORLD) - The Spanish government said Wednesday that it will stop Catalonia’s former President Carles Puigdemont from being re-elected.

Government spokesperson Inigo Mendez de Vigo said the Spanish government has asked the Constitutional Court to overrule a Catalan law recently approved by separatist legislators that would allow Mr. Puigdemont to be voted into office in absentia.
