Startup Flight 2025 boosts Vietnam–India tech, startup cooperation

(VOVWORLD) - Startup Flight 2025, a joint initiative of Vietnam’s National Startup Support Center (NSSC), India’s Amity Innovation Incubator, and Vietjet Air to connect the innovation ecosystems of Vietnam and India, has been launched at Amity University in Uttar Pradesh, India.

The initiative aims to support young entrepreneurs to expand regionally and globally, focusing on Software & Data/AI, E-commerce & Retail, EdTech, and Transport & Logistics.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Vietnam’s Ambassador to India Nguyen Thanh Hai said: "India has the world’s largest population with multiple social classes and diverse needs. That makes it one of the world’s greatest data treasures. The engagement of Indian startups will open a new chapter in which we will exploit and develop the Indian market in India and explore opportunities related to the Indian market here in Vietnam. I believe that, within six months, we will see the rise of promising projects. I also expect to see joint unicorns between Vietnam and India in the future."

The second season of Startup Flight – Startup Flight 2026 – will take place in early 2026.
