The two sides pledged their efforts to assist Vietnam-Russia collaboration in all fields, create favorable legal frameworks to promote trade, investment, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges at all levels, particularly between Vietnamese and Russian localities. Volodin said Russia will provide Vietnam with more scholarships to train high-school Russian language teachers. They signed an agreement on establishing an inter-parliament cooperation committee, which reflects the political trust between the two countries’ leaders and their strong determination to enhance parliamentary cooperation.

The State Duma delegation laid a wreath at the Monument for Martyrs, paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum, and visited the President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Presidential Palace.
