President Nguyen Xuan Phuc (R) welcomes former young volunteers on July 26, 2022.

Many of them have set a bright example in doing business, President Phuc said while hosting a reception for representatives of the Former Young Volunteers’ Association of Vietnam in Hanoi.                     

“Former young volunteers have helped each other escape poverty and become well off. They are role models in both wartime and peacetime,” he said.

During a reception for representatives of national contributors from the central province of Binh Dinh the same day, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan reiterated Vietnam’s consistent policy of taking the best care of those who served the nation.

“Local authorities should join hands with the central Government in supporting national contributors. The best conditions should also be created for their offspring to study and develop,” said Vice President Xuan.
