State President meets voters of district 1, HCM City

(VOVworld) – State President Truong Tan Sang has addressed voters’ concerns about the National Assembly’s legislation, and the need to improve its supervision, and stop corruption during a meeting with voters of district 1 in HCM City on Wednesday.

The State leader also discussed with voters ways of improving the interaction between voters and the National Assembly deputies, and the national economic restructuring. He also talked about the government’s efforts to control inflation, improve people’s living standards, and issues relating to the East Sea and increasing democracy in party building. President Sang said:“Supervision is one of the National Assembly’s 3 key tasks. The public opinion on how to help improve the National Assembly’s supervisory work is much appreciated. The National Assembly is now working on a Law on Supervision. The City’s deputy delegation is also taking into account all voters’ opinions.” During the meeting, most voters seemed pleased about the performance of deputies, which links the people to the legislative body.
