(VOVworld) – On Tuesday, more than 1,700 artists and artisans took part in a street carnival in Viet Tri city, Phu Tho province.

Entitled “Viet Tri – festive city returning to the roots”, the event was part of the 2016 Hung Kings Temple Festival, which is expected to attract millions of visitors who will come to offer incense to the Hung Kings. The four-day festival beginning April 12 will include an exhibit of objects and documents relating to the Hung Kings and Xoan singing.
