About 400 delegates discussed various topics, including the trend towards e-government and measures to build a smart city, governance and e-public services on mobile devices, and online administrative services. Phung Tan Viet, Vice President of the Da Nang city’s People’s Committee, said the city has given top priority to IT development and improving the quality of e-government over the last decade. "This is a good opportunity for localities to share their achievements in applying and developing IT. We’ll also learn from top Vietnamese and foreign experts on how to apply technology in developing e-government."

Last year, Vietnam ranked 81 in the list of 161 countries in ITC Development Index. Localities have developed smart administrative services to meet the people’s satisfaction.
