The system is part of efforts by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and other state management agencies in preventing and fighting counterfeit goods, goods of unidentified origin, and intellectual property infringement goods.

Cao Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, said: “There are more and more counterfeit goods offered online. To promptly prevent and build trust for customers, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has promulgated a 3-year plan until 2020 to intensify efforts to combat counterfeit goods, goods of unidentified origin, and intellectual property infringement goods in which the management system is one of six key solutions."
