(VOVworld) – An annual tea festival introducing Dai Tu tea products opened yesterday in Dai Tu commune, Thai Nguyen province. This is one of the major festivals of the province. Its aim is to build the brand names of Dai Tu tea and Thai Nguyen tea, while creating opportunities for farming households, businesses and cooperative organizations to exchange experience in tea production, and help raise the income of the tea plantation workers.

The festival consisted of many activities including ethnic music performances honoring the beauty of Dai Tu tea and people, a trade fair introducing tea products and tea processing techniques, and “the golden hands of making tea” competition.
