Tet cakes offered to Hung Kings
(VOVWORLD) - Tet cakes were offered to the Hung Kings at a ceremony in HCM city on Tuesday on the occasion of the Lunar New Year Festival.
The ceremony featured southerners’ traditional rituals of worshiping the Hung Kings, the founders of the Vietnamese nation. The 18 pairs of Tet cakes offered won a competition held to celebrate the lunar new year. The ceremony reflects the Vietnamese tradition of “Drinking water, remember its source” and inspires unity among Vietnamese people.
