(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Defense Attaché Office in Laos has celebrated Tet in Vientiane. This has been one of the many activities by the Vietnamese embassy to welcome the lunar New year. Lao friends and overseas Vietnamese were treated to a number of performances and dishes, typical of Vietnam. After listening to the President’s New Year Greetings, overseas Vietnamese people visited a Vietnamese pagoda in Vientiane for blessings.

The Vietnamese embassy in France paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh on New Year’s Eve as part of activities to celebrate Tet and the 84
th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The Vietnamese Culture House in Paris launched a photo exhibition featuring the traditional festivals of France’s Val-de-Marne region and Vietnam’s Yen Bai province. The exhibition has been the result of the cooperation between Val-de-Marne region, Yen Bai province and the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.
