Anti-government protests in Thailand have hurt the economy and roiled markets.

Air Force Chief Marshal Prajin Juntong announced the package following his meeting with economic officials in Bangkok on Sunday. They included the application of a price ceiling on petroleum, and loans for small enterprises and special economic regions bordering Myanmar, Lao, and Malaysia.
Prajin, who is in charge of economic issues for the government, said he would propose another 30 solutions to Army Chief General Prayuth Chan-Ocha in the next couple of days. He will suggest a form of rice price insurance to replace the controversial rice subsidy program of former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.
