(VOVWORLD) -The 18th National Futsal HDBank Championship closed in HCMC on Wednesday, with the trophy going to the Thai Son Nam futsal club for the 13th consecutive year.

Thai Son Nam won the final match 4-1 against Hanoi. The club showed their dominance by winning every individual award. The Best Goalkeeper award went to Ho Van Y, the Top Scorer award to Thinh Phat, and the Best Player award to Manh Dung. Thai Son Nam also won the Fair Play Award. The tournament runner-up was Thai Son Bac. Third place went to Sahako FC.
The tournament took place from February 22 to July 31 with 8 participating teams, who competed in a two-leg (home and away) round robin.
In addition to coverage by the Voice of Vietnam television channels, under a 5-year cooperation agreement with SCTV, the matches were broadcast on sports channels SCTV15 and SCTV17.
Tran Minh Hung, Vice President of VOV, and Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Olympic Committee, said, “All matches of the tournament were broadcast on VOV media channels – VTC digital, VOVTV, and VOV digital – and on social networks in order to attract more viewers to the matches.”
