(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Public Security has reviewed its plan to ensure social security and combat crimes ahead of the traditional lunar new year festival.

 Minister Tran Dai Quang asked the police to cooperate with ministries and provinces to mobilize all out efforts to prevent and combat crimes. During the ministry’s conference on Saturday, the Minister called for more communications to ask for people’s engagement in crime prevention, especially the transport and illegal use of fire crackers, fire prevention, transport safety and facilitation of immigration service for overseas Vietnamese to come home for Tet celebration.
